The One More Initiative

What if every person in your church personally owned the Great Commission?

One More is a whole-church initiative that inspires, equips, and mobilizes your entire congregation to reach the people in their everyday lives who don't know Jesus. Not as a program. As a way of life.

What is this?

Most churches have people who genuinely love Jesus and genuinely love their church. But somewhere between Sunday morning and the rest of the week, the mission stays at church. Not because they don't care, but because nobody ever showed them how to carry it into their everyday lives.

One More changes that. Built around the story of the lost sheep in Luke 15, it moves through your entire church over 8 to 10 months, equipping your people to identify their One, build genuine relationships, and share Jesus naturally. The culture and habits One More builds continue long after the initiative ends, reaching new members and future generations.

This is not a six-week series that fades. It is a culture shift.

What One More Produces

  • Every person in your church identifies at least one person they are genuinely loving and praying for.

  • Your church develops a culture of evangelism that is natural, relational, and sustainable.

  • Your leadership team, board, and congregation are all moving together around the same mission.

  • The culture and habits One More builds continue long after the initiative ends, reaching new members and future generations.

What changes in your church.

The One More Framework

Four practices every person in your church can learn and live.

  • Every person identifies at least one specific individual in their sphere of influence — where they work, live, or play — whom God has placed on their heart to reach for Jesus. When the mission has a name and a face, everything changes.

  • How to engage with your One by being actively present in their life through common interests and shared experiences. Evangelism begins with genuine relationship, not a program or a script.

  • How to build authentic connection by sharing pieces of your own life and asking meaningful questions about theirs. People share Jesus most naturally when they have first learned to share themselves.

  • As the relationship deepens, how to discern when the time is right to share the good news about Jesus. Not a technique, a natural next step in a real relationship.

Ready to find out if One More is right for your church?

One More is a significant commitment. The best way to know if this is your season is a straightforward conversation with our team.

  • A six-week series gets you started. One More goes the distance. Over 8 to 10 months your church doesn't just hear about reaching people, it builds the habits, the language, the equipping infrastructure, and the culture to keep doing it long after the initiative ends. The equipping model is designed to be offered on a routine basis as your church grows, reaching new members and future generations.

  • One More unfolds in a progressive sequence, beginning with your initiative leadership team, moving through your pastors, staff, and board, and ultimately reaching your full congregation. This sequencing is intentional. Alignment starts with leadership and spreads outward. The initiative moves across eight key milestones over 8 to 10 months, from the Kickoff Workshop through equipping sessions, a teaching series, and a closing Next Steps Workshop that establishes long-term plans for culture change.

  • The initiative moves through eight key milestones: Preparation, Kickoff Workshop, Action Plan Review, Vision Night, One More Equipping, the One More Teaching Series, One More Equipping Sessions, and the Next Steps Workshop. Your IC coach helps you build and manage the schedule around your church's calendar.

  • One More is led by a dedicated initiative leadership team organized into seven ministry-focused VIP Teams: Administration, Equipping, Worship, Communications, Prayer, Groups and Ministries, and Next Gen. Each team has a specific focus and set of responsibilities. Your IC coach helps you form, equip, and lead these teams throughout the initiative.

  • The One-aware Panel is one of the most powerful moments in the entire initiative. During the teaching series, your church hosts a live interview with people from your community who don't yet know Jesus, who share their stories, perspectives, and experiences. Most congregations describe it as deeply moving and unlike anything they have done before. A step-by-step guide for recruiting and hosting the panel is included.

  • The One More Equipping Sessions teach your congregation how to identify their One and how to share life, stories, and the good news about Jesus with them. The equipping is customizable, interactive, and designed to be permanently established in your church after the initiative ends. Your church's own equipping team is trained to deliver it on an ongoing basis as your congregation grows.

  • Your church works directly with an IC coach throughout the full 8 to 10 months, with three on-site visits from the IC team: the Kickoff Workshop, the Action Plan Review, and the Next Steps Workshop. Your IC coach also meets with your leadership team regularly to keep momentum, solve problems, and celebrate wins. The initiative includes the One More book and small group study guide for every participant, a complete implementation guide for your leadership team, a full teaching series package with sermon outlines, graphics, and creative commitment elements, and a step-by-step guide for the One-aware Panel experience.

  • The One More book is a thirty-day guide for sharing life, stories, and the good news about Jesus. Every person in your church reads it as preparation before the initiative begins and uses it as a personal reference and small group study throughout. It gives every person in your church a practical companion for the journey. The One More book is also available in our store.

  • One More is designed to be led by a team of leaders across your church, not just staff. Team members typically commit two to four hours per week on average, with more during peak months around the teaching series and congregational equipping. Your senior pastor and executive leadership are involved at key milestones but the initiative is structured to distribute the work across your team.

  • One More works best for churches where the senior leadership is genuinely committed to seeing the congregation personally own the Great Commission, and where there is capacity to form and lead an initiative team over 8 to 10 months. It is not a light engagement, and timing matters. The best way to find out if this is your season is a straightforward conversation with our team.
